Physical and chemical properties:
Pure product is white odourless solid crystal, m.p. 150-152, D420 1.18. It's almost insoluble in water, soluble in many organic solvents, hardly soluble in ether, xylene and kerosene.Unstable in alkaline medium.Light can accelerate its decomposition.
Toxicity:
Acute oral LD50 of Technical to rats is 8-14mg/kg,acute oral LD50 to dogs is 19 mg/kg, acute dermal LD50 to rabbits is 10200 mg/kg. No irritation to skin and eyes.No toxicity to bees,though it has toxicity to birds, LC50 to pheasant is 573ppm.
