Characters: light yellow crystal material (grain), and tasteless. Density of 1.17-1.30.  Insoluble in water, dilute acid and dilute alkali, slightly soluble in gasoline, insoluble in acetone, benzene, toluene, carbon disulfide and chloroform.  The skin and mucous membranes have a stimulating effect.  Storage stability.
