Properties: light yellow powder (particle), slight bitter taste.  Proportion of 1.45-1.54, melting point above 166 ℃, soluble in chloroform, benzene and ethanol, carbon tetrachloride and insoluble in gasoline, water and ethyl acetate and soda. Nontoxic.  Storage stability. 
Uses: MBTS vulcanization in NR and SR in the medium speed, curing characteristics of flat, suitable for most general-purpose rubber. In the "white" compound pollution does not fade.  Used as plasticizers in the CR, delay agent.  Usually required in the synthesis of polymers and vice accelerator and used, scorch safety than MBT.
